I have spent the last couple of months learning to be a school bus driver. That’s why it has been a month since my last post. I have been pretty busy. It is a fun job but there has been a hazard for me, germs.

Little kids seem to carry a lot of germs. I’m not even sure how I might defend against it. I have been knocked down for a second time already with one of the worst colds of my life. It was really bad this time. Chills, sneezing, coughing, ear pain, as well as pain in every joint of my body. Then to top it all off, in the end, I got thrush mouth.

It’s almost over though. The chest and head congestion are fading. The joint pain is near completely gone. The worst part was the overall weakness of my body. It was hard to stand or do things for myself. The thrush kept me from eating anything for a couple of days. Maybe that contributed to the weakness.

I really hate being sick. This last time concerned me a little. I have never felt so helpless and weak. Last year I got the flu and I don’t think was this bad.

Anyway, that is what has been happening with me. I could use some prayer.
