I don’t care how much pressure the world puts on Israel to stop this fight against Hamas. It doesn’t matter who masses themselves against Israel. It doesn’t matter what size army or military force will come against her; no matter how impossible Israel’s situation looks; ISRAEL WILL NOT BE DESTROYED.  THE GOD OF ISRAEL WILL NOT FAIL THEM.

Listen to what the LORD says in Zechariah:  Chapter 2

Then the angel who was speaking to me left, and another angel came to meet him and said to him: “Run, tell that young man, ‘Jerusalem will be a city without walls because of the great number of men and livestock in it. And I myself will be a wall of fire around it,’ declares the LORD, ‘and I will be its glory within.’ (Zechariah 2:3-5)

If you have set yourself against Israel you have set yourself against the God of Israel. Christians everywhere should be praying for the safety and success of Israel and it’s military force. Don’t believe the propaganda of the media, especially in the Middle East where every Nation hates this tiny little country. Christians, you should feel a kinship to this nation that brought us the Word of God, and, His Son (the Word of God), who died for your sins and the rest of the world, even those nations that hate Israel.

God chose them and contrary to popular belief God has not replace the nation of Israel with the advent of the church. WE DID NOT REPLACE ISRAEL!

Listen to the Apostle Paul as he speaks of Israel’s unbelief and the gentiles belief in the book of Romans:

11 Again I ask: Did they (Israel) stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious. 12But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their fullness bring!

13 I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I make much of my ministry 14in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them. 15For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? 16If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches.

17 If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, 18 do not boast over those branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. 19You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” 20Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but be afraid. 21For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.

Israel is the natural branches in this parable. We, the Gentiles, are the ones who were grafted in. We do not support the root (Jesus, our Lord and Saviour, and, a Hebrew or Jew if you will), but, the root is our life support.

God will save Israel both physically and spiritually. Back to the prophecy in Zechariah. Listen to the affection with which the Lord Speaks of Israel in the rest of Zechariah Chapter 2.

6 “Come! Come! Flee from the land of the north,” declares the LORD, “for I have scattered you to the four winds of heaven,” declares the LORD.

7 “Come, O Zion! Escape, you who live in the Daughter of Babylon!” 8 For this is what the LORD Almighty says: “After he has honored me and has sent me against the nations that have plundered you—for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye- 9 I will surely raise my hand against them so that their slaves will plunder them. Then you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me.

10 “Shout and be glad, O Daughter of Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you,” declares the LORD. 11 “Many nations will be joined with the LORD in that day and will become my people. I will live among you and you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me to you. 12 The LORD will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land and will again choose Jerusalem. 13 Be still before the LORD, all mankind, because he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.”

Israel is here to stay. ISRAEL IS HERE TO STAY! They are God’s people. If you claim Jesus as your savior they are your people. Pray for Israel. We are living in the last days. Get your bible and study. You might not understand what you read but read anyway. Ask the Lord for guidance and understanding. Pray.
