Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he chose for his inheritance. From heaven the LORD looks down and sees all mankind; from his dwelling place he watches all who live on earth- he who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do. No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength. A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all its great strength it cannot save. But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love rest upon us, O LORD, even as we put our hope in you. (Psalm 33:12-22)

It is useless to trust in the government, the president, your pastor, or any man. You must trust in the Lord. Trust in His unfailing love. In another place, in the bible, the Word of God says, “perfect Love cast out fear (John 4:18).“

If you truly trust the Lord you realize that He loves you. How protective are you with your children or anyone else you truly love? Adonai is a Father who feels the same way. In fact, He is the first and great Father. How much more can he protect those He loves. Did he not send His own Son to die for those who would trust in Him? For your sin, He gives you His life. His life for your protection and deliverance.

There is a place created for the devil and his angels where there will be eternal torment and anguish. For those who would trust in His unfailing love, the Lord has given His life to keep us out of this place. Put your trust in Him today! The time grows short for His return for His people. All those who have chosen to ignore Him will follow the devil and his angels to Hell, the place of torment. God is a good God. Put your hope in Him. Let Him care for you. Let His unfailing love be your shield.
